The LRA is a rebel army operating in rural Uganda and parts of The Sudan and The Congo. The LRA is accused of widespread human rights violations, including mutilation, torture, rape, the abduction of civilians, the use of child soldiers and a number of massacres. This song is a lullaby that prays for the safe return of the "night commuters" to their home villages. Night commuters is the term used to refer to children who walk up to 20km every night from their villages to the safety of towns in order to avoid abduction by the LRA.
